Program description

When you opt in to our SMS program, you can expect to receive text messages relating to your inquiry and your services with us. SMS communications may relate to inquiries, consultations, appointments, scheduling, requested services, and service-related updates.

How to stop receiving messages

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to 678-916-8080. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

How to get help

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at info@monarchcanineacademy.com.

Carrier liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Message frequency and charges

As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies depending on your inquiry, your appointments, and the services you have requested. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

Consent

You consent to receive text messages by submitting your mobile number through a form on our website, by providing it to us during a call or appointment, or by texting us first. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us.

3. Website use

The content on this website is provided for general information about our services. Training outcomes depend on the individual dog, the household, and the owner’s participation, and nothing on this website constitutes a guarantee of any particular result.

You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site.

4. Appointments, evaluations, and payment

Consultations, evaluations, and training programs are booked and paid for through our website or directly with us. Evaluation fees are payable at the time of booking and confirm your appointment.

Acceptance into any training program is at Monarch’s discretion and may depend on the outcome of an evaluation. Monarch may decline or defer service where a case falls outside our scope, where safety cannot be reasonably managed, or where veterinary review is needed first.

5. Cancellation and rescheduling terms

Monarch Canine Academy reserves appointment times specifically for each client and dog. Clients are responsible for providing timely notice when an appointment must be canceled or rescheduled.

Complimentary Consultations

Clients should provide at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling a complimentary phone or virtual consultation.

One missed complimentary consultation may be rescheduled, subject to availability. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in reduced scheduling priority, discontinuation of manual follow-up, or a requirement to proceed through a paid consultation or evaluation.

Paid Evaluations and Lessons

At least 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule any paid appointment, including:

  • Paid in-person evaluations
  • Private training lessons
  • Behavior Modification sessions
  • Separately purchased lessons or refresher lessons
  • Specialty-service appointments
  • Board & Train follow-up lessons

The notice period is measured backward from the scheduled appointment start time.

When the required notice is provided, the appointment may be rescheduled subject to availability, and any prepaid appointment or included lesson will remain available. Rescheduling does not extend a program’s completion or expiration period unless Monarch Canine Academy approves an extension in writing.

Late Cancellations

A cancellation or rescheduling request received less than 48 hours before a paid appointment may be treated as a used or forfeited appointment.

Depending on the type of appointment:

  • A paid evaluation or appointment fee may be forfeited.
  • One included program lesson may be deducted.
  • A replacement appointment may require an additional payment.
  • Future appointments may require prepayment.

Restoration of a forfeited appointment, lesson, fee, or credit is not guaranteed and requires written approval from Monarch Canine Academy.

No-Shows and Late Arrivals

A client who does not attend a scheduled appointment and has not provided timely notice may forfeit the appointment fee or lose one included lesson.

Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late without approved communication may be treated as a no-show when the remaining appointment time is insufficient to provide meaningful and safe service or when the delay materially disrupts operations.

When Monarch elects to proceed with a late appointment, the appointment will ordinarily end at its originally scheduled time. Additional time is not guaranteed.

Repeated lateness, cancellations, or no-shows may result in:

  • Required prepayment for future appointments
  • Restricted appointment availability
  • Loss of preferred scheduling
  • Review of the client’s continued participation in the program
  • Termination of services when scheduling issues prevent effective program delivery

Emergencies and Exceptional Circumstances

Monarch Canine Academy may consider an exception for extraordinary circumstances, including a documented medical emergency, immediate family emergency, vehicle collision, sudden veterinary emergency, severe weather, or another significant event outside the client’s reasonable control.

Routine work conflicts, forgotten appointments, ordinary traffic delays, childcare issues, or failure to plan do not automatically qualify for an exception.

All exceptions are considered individually. Clients should notify Monarch Canine Academy as soon as reasonably possible and provide supporting information when requested. No employee or representative may guarantee that an exception, credit, refund, extension, or replacement appointment will be approved.

Weather, Illness, and Safety

When Monarch Canine Academy cancels an appointment because weather or another condition makes training unsafe, the client will not be penalized, and the appointment will be rescheduled subject to availability.

Clients must promptly notify Monarch if the client has a contagious illness, the dog displays potentially contagious symptoms, the dog is medically unfit to participate, or veterinary guidance restricts participation. Monarch will determine whether the appointment should be rescheduled, paused, modified, or referred for veterinary clearance.

Program Deadlines

Client cancellations, rescheduling requests, missed appointments, scheduling gaps, travel, or personal availability do not automatically extend any program completion period or appointment-expiration deadline.

Any extension must be approved in writing by Monarch Canine Academy.

Board & Train Reservations

Board & Train reservation deposits, intake cancellations, date changes, reservation transfers, early removal, and related financial consequences are governed by the applicable Board & Train agreement and reservation policy. Those terms control if they differ from this general appointment policy.

6. No guarantee

Monarch does not guarantee specific training results, timelines, or the resolution of any particular behavior. Results depend on factors outside our control, including the dog’s individual temperament and health, household consistency, and the owner’s ongoing participation.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, video, and the Monarch Canine Academy name and logo, is the property of Monarch Canine Academy LLC and may not be reproduced without permission.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent version.
