Monarch does not operate separate facilities in every service area. Training is provided through our primary facility in Hull, Georgia, with sessions progressing into appropriate environments based on each dog’s needs and program.

Six Core Service Counties

Monarch works with clients across six core Northeast Georgia counties. Training is centered on professional assessment, private instruction, real-world reliability and the program that best fits the dog and household. Monarch does not maintain separate facilities in each community listed below; the public training facility is in Hull, Georgia.

Athens & Clarke County

Athens and Clarke County remain one of Monarch’s primary service areas. Clients throughout Athens work with Monarch for foundational private training, advanced real-world reliability, Behavior Modification when appropriate, and Four-Week Board & Train. Training is designed to help dogs perform beyond the quiet of the home—around neighborhood activity, public environments, visitors, other dogs and the everyday distractions that often expose gaps in obedience.

Winder & Barrow County

Monarch serves Winder and families throughout Barrow County seeking structured private dog training and professional guidance. Clients may work with Monarch for foundational obedience, advanced reliability, Behavior Modification when appropriate, or the Four-Week Board & Train program. Monarch does not maintain a physical location in Winder; services are provided through the academy’s approved training model.

Behavior Modification

Gwinnett County

Gwinnett County is part of Monarch’s core service area, particularly for busy professionals and families who value structured, professional training and dependable real-world behavior. Private training and Four-Week Board & Train may be appropriate depending on the dog’s needs, household goals and logistics. Monarch does not maintain a separate Gwinnett location.

Private Dog Training Athens GA

Select Metro Atlanta Communities

Monarch also works with selected clients traveling from Metro Atlanta, including communities such as Alpharetta, Milton, Sandy Springs, Buckhead, East Cobb and similar markets. These communities are not presented as Monarch physical locations or ordinary local service territory. Program availability depends on the dog’s needs, the recommended training path and practical logistics.

Board & Train for Clients Traveling From Farther Away

Monarch’s Four-Week Board & Train can be particularly suitable for clients traveling from outside the immediate Athens-area market because the dog remains in Monarch’s residential training program for the duration of the program. Board & Train dogs stay at the trainer’s private residence on a 25-acre property, with enrollment intentionally limited to a maximum of four client dogs at one time. The private residential address is not published. Drop-off, pickup and transfers are arranged by appointment through Monarch.
